50 something, one step daughter with three children of her
own (no longer speak since I separating from her Father), two daughters 24 & 20, a gaggle of other kids that call me mum (that I love just as much)
divorced, have always worked (in my own business for 18 of those years – both
children were born during this time). I’m only child with a dependent mother for
the last 6 years after she suffered a stroke. I decided to do this on my
Birthday in May 2010, not sure why that day was the day except I was feeling my
life and work experiences were not fulfilling me as much as I thought they
should – I hope I can make someone’s life a little easier from those
experiences, even if it means dinner is a little easier or you manage to
understand you are not alone.
It took me nearly a year to work out this was the best
platform for me. I have overcome those wonderful menopause symptoms (no thanks
to conventional medicine) was even told by an Endocrinologist to ‘get used to
the fog brain’ not to mention the other 14 symptoms! I now represent the
